My Weeknd Adventure

I have always been in a family with pets. From my first cat when I was just an infant to my first dog when I was 11, I have always loved animals. At my parents house they now have 2 dogs and a cat, but after moving out I began to miss having a furry creature running around. My girlfriend and I have been searching for a puppy for months and have been researching breeds almost every day. The humane society is always a great place to look, however it's difficult when searching for a specific breed. I wanted something big, like a Siberian Husky or a Great Dane, but I don't think they would enjoy the space of our one bedroom apartment. I was actually emailing a breeder that seemed to be legitimate but the price was too good to be true! It was a Siberian Husky breeder from Texas and it seemed to have everything a legitimate breeder would have. Until I asked how payment works I thought we were in the clear for a new Husky pup for under fur hundred bucks! Unfortunately we noticed at least three or four other ads with the exact same pictures under a different name, I guess criminals aren't staying too bright these days. I was disappointed to say the least, and even though we are moving to a larger place in the summer, we decided a small dog was the way to go for now, and we can get him/her a Husky friend in a couple of years. So we began looking for something a smaller. Initially we were thinking of a Shiba Inu, they are a mid sized dog with a really funny personality, more like a cat than a dog. The owner of one we found also ended up flaking on us. Our search went from huge, to smaller, to tiny. We found a teacup Chihuahua that was only six weeks old. It wasn't ready for adoption yet, but this past weekend we contacted them right away, got a response and began talking about the pup. The breeder reserved it for us and has been keeping us updated with pictures and I couldn't be more excited. We finally found our puppy, maybe it's not anywhere near the breed we were first searching for, but this one feels right. So we haven't actually gotten the puppy yet, but this weekend confirmed we will have one in a couple of weeks and that has been quite a long adventure for us.

Imagine That

Travel

This is a photo I took and enhanced a bit on a trip to England last year. Travel is one of the biggest parts of my life and I have been doing it since I was a baby, Whether it's road tripping to Mount Rushmore, to cruising the Caribbean, I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon. I would love for my career to entail as much traveling as possible.
